Our Mission
To provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to learn through creativity, play, exploration and discovery — and where parents can go to work knowing their child is genuinely cared for.
Little Toddlers
Little Toddlers Creche has been part of the Lyttelton community since 2017. This is who we are, what we believe, and what a day with us actually looks like.

Little Toddlers Creche opened its doors in 2017 in Lyttelton, Centurion, with a simple belief: children flourish when they feel completely safe and completely loved.
Today we care for babies, toddlers and preschoolers through full day and half day programmes, and we welcome primary school children every afternoon into our aftercare. We have grown, but we have kept our groups small on purpose — because being properly known by your teacher matters more than anything.
Our teachers are qualified, patient and genuinely fond of the children in their care. Our kitchen cooks fresh every day. Our playground is fenced and supervised. And our door is always open to parents who want to pop in, ask a question or just check in on their little one.
To provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to learn through creativity, play, exploration and discovery — and where parents can go to work knowing their child is genuinely cared for.
To be the preschool that Centurion families recommend without hesitation — raising confident, kind, curious children who walk into big school ready, capable and excited to learn.
Every child is greeted by name, hugged when they need it and celebrated for exactly who they are.
Controlled access, constant supervision, strict hygiene and a fully fenced play area — no exceptions.
Questions are welcome here. We give children room to wonder, test, make a mess and try again.
Children learn kindness by seeing it. We model good manners, patience and gentle words every day.
Small, steady steps — social, emotional, physical and academic — measured against your child, not a chart.
Parents are part of the team. You will always know how your child's day went and what comes next.
Everything at child height, everything soft-edged, everything easy to clean — and every corner within sight of a teacher.
Children thrive on rhythm. Here is how our day flows — with plenty of flexibility for the little ones who need it.
Doors open. Gentle drop-off, quiet toys and a warm welcome for every child.
A wholesome, filling start to the day around the table together.
Songs, weather, days of the week, news sharing and the theme of the week.
Age-appropriate activities: letters, numbers, colours, shapes, fine motor work.
Fruit and a snack, then free play, climbing and running in the fenced playground.
Art, painting, music, movement, construction or messy sensory play.
A cooked, balanced meal — and lots of practice with cutlery and manners.
Quiet music, dimmed lights and supervised naps for those who need them.
Primary school children arrive, have lunch and settle in for homework.
One-on-one homework assistance, reading practice and revision.
Supersonic, dancing, Math Kids or Compu-Kids, depending on the day.
Final collection, a feedback chat with your teacher and goodbye hugs.
Times are a guide and may shift slightly by age group or on extra mural days.
Little Toddlers Creche opens in Lyttelton with a handful of families and one very big dream — a creche that feels like home.
Word spreads through the neighbourhood. We add a second classroom and welcome our first full intake.
Parents of primary school children ask for safe afternoon care with homework help. We say yes.
Math Kids, Compu-Kids, Sports and Dancing Beetles begin on site, so parents stop driving across town.
Our birthday party offering launches, hosted right at the school and run with Mehnaaz.
A small weekly treat becomes the most anticipated moment of every child's week.
Siblings, cousins and even children of past pupils now walk through our gate — the greatest compliment we could receive.
